Head of Science Communication
This is your chance to join an exciting & funded start up at the ground level. We are looking for an individual who can use their background in science to help change how we share biological samples with colleagues around the world.
We are looking for someone to help us spread the word about Otlet across a number of scientific platforms. This includes (but is not limited to) writing
- Scientific publications
- Scientific society newsletters
- Media articles (i.e. the Conversation)
Candidates will be expected to identify and source additional means of outreach and drive our science communication strategy.
We are looking for someone with experience in biological research science and/or science communication. Candidates should be
- Motivated and excited about new science initiatives
- Able to think creatively and work independently
- Able to build and grow global networks & collaborations
- Fluent in speaking, reading & writing in English

Are you a science student looking to add 'Sci Comm' skills and experience to your CV?
We are looking for a highly motivated Digital and & Social Media intern to join our team at Otlet.
Successful candidates will assist with online marketing and outreach to scientists through platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and ResearchGate.
Candidates should have a background in science, be willing to work in a new ‘start up’ environment with a small team and be able to think creatively.
Individuals with previous experiencing using social media to communicate science are highly sought after for this position.
